Our first Tuscan hill town was Siena. We arrived in the morning and made a stop at the Church of San Domenico, which is home to the skull and thumb of St. Catherine, before hiking into the city. Once in the city, we had an orientation walk before being free for lunch and the afternoon. Since I knew a large dinner awaited us upon our return to the villa, I decided to get a large gelato for lunch. After my gelato, I visited the Duomo before relaxing in Il Campo. It was another warm day, so the red bricks were quite warm.
